The Steelers face one of their toughest challenges of the season as they travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in a matchup of 10-3 teams on Monday Night Football. Almost a quarter of the Lombardi trophies awarded in the history of the Super Bowl belong to one of these two teams, and they'd both like to add to the collection.

Pittsburgh will have to deal with the absence of LB James Harrison, who was suspended for his tackle of Browns QB Colt McCoy last Thursday. Center Maurkice Pouncey will miss the game due to injury. QB Ben Roethlisberger is expected to start, but it's not known how much he will be affected by the ankle sprain he suffered last week against Cleveland.

Because of the Ravens' loss in San Diego last night, this game has major playoff implications. A Steelers win will put Pittsburgh back in control of the division title race and give them a chance to claim the #1 seed in the AFC if they keep winning.
